Doe Weight Room
The Doe Weight Room serves as the primary stregnth and conditioning facility for Davidson Athletics.
Since its completion in 2005, Davidson student-athletes have enjoyed training with the new state-of-the-art equipment in the 5,000 square-foot facility.
The room is equipped with 8 full racks custom designed by Williams Strength with custom inlaid platforms with Davidson's logo. The room also features two full sets of dumbbells with weights ranging from five pounds to 150 pounds, plyometric boxes of varying size, two full racks of kettle bells, and nearly 200 resistance bands. These features help athletes compete in all 21 Division I sports by improving strength, speed, and flexibility.
Doe Weight Room is located in Richardson Stadium, with entrance on the north end, near the Knobloch Campus Center.
The room is named for Ernest "Ernie" Gordon Doe '69, a football player at Davidson, a national weight lifting champion and dedicated alumnus.
